Converting multicade into a hi-end galaga restoration

Ive recently purchased a "new" 3 yr old multicade (originally pac man), with new monitor, 48:1 jamma, nice multicade cpo, galaxian bezel, all in a very clean and professionally restored platform. It has been sparingly used, which is why a say "new"! Not sure if a good deal, but paid $700 including local delivery.

Originally, I wanted to take a minty galaga and do an 80-1 jamma, leaving it to look like a proper galaga with an extra button. My question is, should I try to use all original galaga parts to convert, or are some of the repro bezels, marquees, art kits, cpos of a high quality? Who sells the most authentic components if this is what I should do? Thanks if u can point me in the right direction. Regards,

Kurt

I had typed something else then I saw the post above and re-read your post. If you are wanting to clone it to a Galaga then
try Arcade Shop.

Thanks, fellows. Yes, it has been bastardized, but certainly not by me! I would never want to make another original disappear for sure.

I've been reading that phoenix has the best repro stuff. Do u all believe this to be true? Thx again.
