I have a non-working Video Pinball pcb that I thought I would try and change over to EPROMs. If I do this do I need to remove the Proms?

Yep... have fun soldering! :)

Prob cleaner to get someone to do a high score save kit to eliminate the ROMs.

Haven't played it in a while, so I'm not sure if it's worth doing a kit... heh.

I am not sure it is all that fun, I am just sentimental about it. (Sort of sounds like my wife describing me.)

Make a high score save kit and I will take two.

I assume you can burn eproms yourself?

CPLD part is trivial, but since I don't have a board to test on, it might take more than one rev of code. I found the (high) scores in memory [for some reason MAME hiscore.dat doesn't have an entry], and id'ed where to insert the store/restore routines, so it shouldn't be too bad to throw together.
