Converted Journey on Detroit CL (not mine)

This popped up a bit ago if anyone is looking for a Journey

yup. the Revenge of Doh cab. already scoped that out. i plan on obtaining it. but with intense competition with 100's of others...

Not sure how estate sales work in other states in the USA, but in the Detroit metro area, it's insanity. People arrive and start lining up 3-4 hours BEFORE the place is open. And they give out #'s to the first 20-50 people in line. Beyond that, everything left is garbage.

oh wow and this is going to be the most insane estate sale of 2017!!!

now i know why there are arcade games at this luxurious home...

it's a famous Motown singer, Vickie Winans, residence! insane!

9,000sq ft means its a multi-million dollar mansion! there's going to be lines 1000 people deep! people are going to camp overnight for this one! ugh

Damn. What a great game. Arkanoid 2 that is. It's too bad it's in such an ugly cabinet.

I saw it too but i wasn't going to let everyone in town know about it. Lol I actually just bought a Journey converted to Arkanoid a few weeks ago downriver for $200. #510. I'd be curious to know the number on this machine. So...is this thing auction?

not an auction. it's an estate sale of a wealthy gospel singer moving to hollywood. those games will probably have a $2-3,000 price tag on them. lame. but we'll see...

Can you rig up that tape deck to work with Arkanoid 2: R.O.D.? I'd enjoy listening to some tunes while playing Revenge of DOH.

Not sure until I get there and take a looksie inside the cab. If they will even allow me to open the back up to take said looksie.

I'm hoping all the leftover Journey guts were left intact with all the sub-journey pcb's, tape player, etc...

Guys guys...who needs to worry about getting this converted journey, spending over $1000 to restore it when you can get this!!:

haha thats the most horrifying custom baby-cab ever. that shit ain't worth $20. pass.

So is it bidding like storage wars or something? "YEEEPP!" Wave of the hand and a nod. Lol

No bidding at all.

It's a set price tag (ie: $2,500) and if you wanna buy it for that ridiculous price, it's yours to take home. Sometimes the estate seller/host can haggle, but usually/never on the first day of the 2-3 day weekend sale...

$2,500 for the whole lot or the one machine?
