convert Sega Scud racer from 110v to 220v.. anyone done that?

I will get a Scud Racer twin in a week or so, but it's 110v and i need 220v here. I tried to look it up in the manual i downloaded en search the net but no luck. There was something in the manual saying that some wiring need to be different, but not an indepth explaination.
I do not know if i need to order a new power supply or something, and i want to order things as soon as possible so i can convert it when i have it. So maybe people here know what i need?

thanks!

try checking another sega game from that era. Scud is 1996.

I hve not really looked at any sega drivers of that era, but I crushed a print club2 (1997) and its transformer looked like it was easy to select. Hopefully scud will be similar/same.

here is a pic. Maybe it will help.

i won't do that. since not only psu that you need to convert that way. better use step down transformer. i don't really remember if scud race have transformer or not (you can see below the seat near the front). the transformer should be big enough to notice. if there is, then it is very easy to convert, since usually sega transformer input have cable select for 220V.

Thank you... I was under the impression the transformer was inside the psu... And if i changed it to a 220v version everything would be ok.... Guess not....

I think i just wait untill i have it so i know and i can show what i am talking about.
