Convert a Vectrex to a upright arcade

Anybody wanna sell a working system with controller in decent shape for $100 shipped? :)

I've owned 7 or 8 of these things in my time but for some reason last time I went to a show as a vendor I sold the one I was going to keep(got offered too much to pass up). I still have a various roms and multicarts in a box but no Vectrex. :(

Wow I am surprised you would sell you Vectrex! Would you sell your Adventure Vision too???

I've sold at least 5 or 6 Adventure Vision systems... a couple of them with boxes even. :) (Sorry Steve, it was way before I knew you were looking for one...)

I used to really be into handhelds and consoles... :)

Picture was from 11 years ago and I was showing Dan Borris the spinning mirror concept. That was the show I gave him a system to take apart and grab the internal 4011 ROM code. I think he had the system for close to a year.

You'll notice in the picture that there are two boxed AV systems and two loose. :) There were also two sets of boxed cartridges there too.

I started a thread on this topic a while back, I think it's been tried, but I think I remember hearing something about the hardware not being fast enough to run a full size monitor.

If this is true that will kill the idea. Will have to look at that!!

Keep the Vectrex mint. They aren't very common and they need to be taken care of.

The unit would be kept intact. Nothing hacked. My idea would be extension cables if the connectors were avaliable.
