Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew what other games where put in these cabinets? or where I can get plans to make one. I really want one of these style cabinets. But, cant find them anywhere.

I'd love to have a contra , did these really ever come in camo, the only dedicateds I seen are white sides with artwork

Just got a Double Dribble that was converted from some other Konami game. I guess it could have been a Contra. Definitely has the aforementioned cheesy sideart. I posted a thread about possibly converting it to a Track and Field here:

So, to partially answer your question, I guess grabbing any classic Konami game in its original cab would work.

I guess the camouflage was effective, since nobody's ever seen one. :D

I would love a Contra too. I played it a lot back in the day, I still think it's a fun game, and I think the cheesy 80's side art gives it charm.

Pretty sure it was just a genaric cabinet. I know the flyer says dedicated but i think they just sold you a genaric cabinet when you ordered a 'dedicated'. The camo was just for the flyer. Here's a picture of the genaric cabinet as i most often saw it.

Another Shitty 60-1 conversion I hate people that do this. Let's just throw this 60-1 PCb into this cabinet and now it's worth 6-7-8-even 900 bucks. Garbage... That's the devestators cab i was talking about though.

A local K-Mart had a Contra and if I recall it was camo but on the sides each side had a picture of the two guys. One that had a cigar and looked like Arnold, and the other with hte red headband that looked like Stallone.

you could probably buy a similar kind of camo in wallpaper or something similar. That would make for a nice resto thread to see someone camo a cab and make it a sweet contra. hmmmmm ideas. :)

I would like to pick this cabinet up. But, for the price its not worth it at all.

I noticed the seller put up another ad for the same game, but now instead of $600, it's listed at $500 and it says he "needs it gone". If you want that cab, might as well try your luck and make him an offer. You never know... I've had sellers decline my "lowball" offer only to respond a week later saying they'll accept it.

Got mine for $100 even that was way to much considering the shape it was in. Love the game though ever since NES but I did play the arcade version first.

Yeah I know one bad thing about these cabinets, they're just like some Taito cabs. if you get any water near them they will suck it up faster than you would ever think. The fine sawdust style partical board is the one huge downfall to these.

Yeah all to true cant see it to well in my pictures but the bottom edges of the cabinet went from 3/4" to like 2 1/2". Also ruined an electric sander trying to even it out. The only thing that fixed it was smearing wood glue into the fibers and using tons of wood filler to level it out.
