I'm sure it's an easy solution, but how do you get the pcb out of an upright taito continental circuit cabinet? I need to check some solder joints and test it after that. I've looked for videos on it. Checked an online owner's manual. No luck. Thanks in advance for any help.

Bump. Looked this cabinet up & down. No idea how to get access to remove the pcb

Yeah. I will post sum. I was at work. Was thinking someone had worked on one previously and knew what to do. Will get some shortly. Thank you

Guy on FB told me there should be 2 screws in the bottom compartment to the CP. And then after you open the CP, there is supposed to be a tray that slides out with the pcb. However, after looking in the bottom compartment, there is nothing resembling a nut, bolt, or screw. The top compartment contains the monitor and monitor frame. Plus the pcb, PS, transformer, harness and wires. No chance you're getting a screwdriver or nut driver thru that. Still stumped on this.

Ah yours is just like mine, with the back door off remove the two large flathead screws, this locks the drawer in place from the back, but the shelf does NOT come out through the back. Go back to the front of the machine, near the control panel (depending on if an operator added any extra, are about 6 screws, 4 on the front, either side of the CP along the edges, and two on the sides of the cab facing inward. Remove them, the cp, and board will slide toward you. Leave the back door OFF as sometimes interconnects can get caught. and you want to be able to see while you work.

Also your cabinet is in much better shape than mine, so you may not have the extra front panel screws. With the larger screws in the back removed the whole CP should come forward. If you could actually do me a solid, and snap a photo of behind your steering wheel when you get it open. That would be amazing.

Reading all that makes me glad I have easier access in my cockpit CC cabinet.

I'm actually happy with where it's at and the access to it. Once I figured it out. I'm not sticking my head inside a cab with a cordless drill in 1 hand and balancing my phone (for light) holding a pcb with the other hand and the next screw in my mouth.
