Just picked up a Congo Bongo and I think the power supply is bad (Has a burn marks on one of the connectors). I would like to replace it with orginal or a switcher.

Anyone have their Congo Bongo or Zaxxon wired for a switcher? If so do you have a pic or diagram on how to do that. I looked for a Power Supply kit from Arcade Shop but they do not have one.

Also are the audio in and out pins used? Mine only has Power in and out with connectors to it no audio.

Thanks Steven

I put one in my Future Spy, and I think that is the same pin outs.

How does the wites for in go? I think I can figure out the wires to the board. +5 +12 GND all seems easy. But unlike jamma with 2 ac wires I see several colored wires coming in.

Thanks Steven

If the connector is burned, just replace it.

Many different power supplies end up with burned connectors. It typically starts with some oxidation with raises the resistance of the connection which causes heat and it cascades from there...

I was thinking if the connevtor was burnt something from the power supply had to happen for it to do that. SO replace the power supply would be a good idea anyway. Counter shows 6,000+ plays. Last sticker I see is 1983.

It's just a crappy connector... replace it and the one that plugs into it.

Williams games and some of the Atari AR boards like to cook their connectors too.
