I am confused. You move all RAM posts to a dedicated forum... yet no one can post or respond to any of the posts in this new forum?!

Now, it think the Admin here was trying to do "good" by us members by doing this... I think a setting got messed up or something...

Yeah, I think something got messed up. I believe there plan is for people to be able to post to the second and third stickied threads.....

I'll chime in and say I don't get it either.
I love the fact that it's crawl-able by search engines, but the inability to post kind of kills any news of what is going on?

I do believe its a place holder until admin can sort it out. I am pretty sure you can post in the forum itself.

I believe that most of those topics were closed before they were moved to the section (mostly because they all turned into shitstorms), the most recent thread should still open to posts. Let us know if you can't post in that one or start a new thread in the section.

I can't post or start a new thread. I tried to start THIS thread in there but couldn't.

I can confirm what he's saying is true -- I can't post either. I receive a message when I hit the post/reply button that says:

Spunkmeyer, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

FMonk brought the matter to our attention. Usually sections inherit permissions from their parents, but in this case the parent forum is 'Feedback' which doesn't allow any posting at all.

What got missed was settings custom permissions for the section that got created.

Fixed.

It's the new "Passive Aggressive Forum". ;)

It looks like you can create a new thread now in that section, but nobody can add a post to the following threads:

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=174435
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=174436

If I am reading correctly, aren't you trying to get people to update these threads with there outstanding orders or refunds? Maybe I am reading it incorrectly.

I have the same impression as you... I think it's just an oversight. Hopefully it gets updated soon.
