Anyone here have experience with repairing the Coney Island rifle game by Chicago Coin?
Can not figure out how to get it to get into play mode. Just lights up and the score motor turns a few times then that's all. Have a schematic for it. But would Appreciate any help I can get thank you.

I just bought it. But thanks for the offer.
I could use some help if anyone out there has experience with these games.

I am having the exact same problem. I can force it into play mod by rotating the wheel up by the upper clock in the top left when I have the glass of

hmmm.. from the sounds of things seems the wiper blades (star like wheel on step-up unit)on the step up isnt resetting properly... If you have to FORCE IT (as braido puts it) the wiper blades to the 0 mark by hand to make it start, then id say mabey the WELD broke on the stem of the blades. you might need to take the wiper off the unit and turn it on the stem to tighten it then put it back in the step up...

ive seen this before, its like when you start it, the blades dont go to the 0 mark on the reset step up unit, it just misses it, then when you turn the blades to the mark, bingo it starts!!

Are you talking about the timer on the upper right side of the top cabinet area when you look in from the back door? I tried turning the metal wheel but it just started the timer moving for about a minute. Didn't put the game into play mode.

Which stepper unit are you referring to? And how do you know where the 0 position is?

Ill try that, thx! Been trying to get it up and going again for a few weeks now. The zero position is where the reel stops, where the not is?

No take off the glass front Bezel. Now from looking at the machine from straight on from the front it's the big wheel on the upper left of the cabinet. I think I had to take out the Hologram unit to see this, I can't remember and I'm not in front of the game right now. Let me know if that doesn't explain things well enough and ill email you a short video from my phone. Pm me your email address if needed. Weird that we are having the same issue, must be getting too close to Dec 21!

I can't figure out how to get the front glass off? Could you give me a pointer on that?
Two latches inside the cabinet are unlocked but can't figure out how to slide the glass out?

It is supposed to be the one inside the front behind the back glass according to Shayne.

Yep, that is the one that works for me anyways when i turn it, it will go into game mod and play just fine.

To take the front glass off, open the back door and there will be a steel or metal rod at the top of the game. It should have a wing nut to tighten/loosen the rod so that it moved forwards and backwards. Loosen the nut and put it backwards to relieve the tention on the lock.

Hope that works, let me know.

The rods are there and they slide but there is a board with the score reels and timer etc in front of the glass. How do you get to the glass? Do you have to dis-assemble the boards etc in the back box to get to it? I can send you a photo of it if you want
Thanks

Here are a few photos of it:

Hi Bill,
I not familiar with this game but once you have slid the metal rails back from the back of the cabinet, the glass should be free to remove. If the lower edge of the glass has a lip just grab this and gently lift the glass up then out at the bottom. If there is no lip, gently press on the glass while pushing up at the same time.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy most of the day. This is correct, just follow the above advice. Forgot to mention there is a wood piece that will also have to be removed once you have the glass off so you can get to the piece i am talking about. It's easy to remove just two screws holding it on.
