Hello all,

I am replacing the power supply in my computer space with a switching supply. I've been looking at the wiring diagram and see that the white and red wires coming out of the supply go to the game connector. The diagram only says 5vts but I'm thinking one is +5vt and the other is -5vt but I don't know which is which.

Anyone know which is which? The wiring in mine is pretty hacked up and I don't want to plug it in without changing the power cord - haven't done it yet.

Any other voltages I need to know about? Control panel lights aren't 5vts, are they?

TIA
Tom

A quick look at the manual shows that it is only +5vdc.

What are the bulbs? 6v bulbs are regularly used with only 5v supplying them and they operate fine. I bet this cab is the same.

Also, taking a look at the schematic is appears that the white wire is the return or ground wire. It is connected in series to the buttons.

To follow up on this;

Computer Space does use two different voltages.

+5vt for the main logic circuits
+12.6vt AC for the light bulbs and sound circuits

On the power supply, the red wire is +5vts and the white is ground.
The 12.6 AC voltage comes from the transformer in the cab.
