so I have one game that has a computer monitor (19" crt)

I was thinking of using an lcd monitor. Is it pretty much the same thing when it comes to hooking it up? (60 in 1 board, so it has an interface on the pcb)

the lcd's are lighter and less bulky aren't they?

lcd's are gonna be thin flat screen so they should way a lot less than anything with a tube. Basically they need power and the vga cable from the board to the monitor. Set the board to output vga signal then you're good to go.

so it's pretty much the same it sounds like.

The other one (crt computer monitor) I spliced in power to the monitor and plugged the (usb?) cord to the 60 in 1 directly.

thanks

As p1899m said, same power and same VGA cable. Your CRT computer monitor would be a VGA not a USB like this

that is the same cord coming from the crt computer monitor that I plug into the 60 in 1 board.
thanks
