Compton Superauction Call

Cool to see that the turnout on this one is looking to change from the last one. Last time it was a lot of "no way in hell I'm going to Compton, I don't care how good the deals are" and a couple of "well, I've got a permit to carry in CA, so I'm going". Some great deals the last time, hopefully more good deals this time, though I'm on the wrong coast to try to get to this one.

Can someone going keep an eye out for BloodStorm for me, maybe grab a picture if there's one there? I know it can't be as rare as it seems and I want to start keeping tabs on auctions to see if they come up and what shape they're in. And what cabs they're in, they were supposed to all be conversions, though the klov entry recently seems to have added a picture of a real dedicated machine. Anyone sees one like the one in the klov entry come up at this auction with the white decals on the front, etc, and you can get the machine to NAVL, I'll happily buy it off you. *thread hijack deleted, i'll post a separate thread about it*

I didn't go to the last one... were there some good deals on games? Do they have a list of games for this year?

Is there anybody going that will be driving down the 99 and passing thru the Tulare area?
If so would you be willing to pick up a monitor from a member there and haul it back? I'd meet you around the Tipton off ramp and compensate for gas $. PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Greg

I'm in for the preview. Not sure if I'll be staying unless something interesting turns up.

If they did, they aren't saying...

When it comes to getting a deal, there is no comradery.....

If I owned some truly classic games in fair or better condition, and wanted to sell them, the auction would be the last place I would take them.

I am expecting huge projection TV and showcase games, along with a lot of fighters and junky cabinets. Maybe they will have a lot of vending machines with moldy gumballs too.....
