Anyone know of a list of Compatible 25in TVs for tube swaps. Specifically for a k7000?

You know for all the trouble you've been going through...you could have grabbed my 25" monitor and been done already... :D

As far as compatible tubes, any TV with a 'non' bonded yoke and a 10 pin neck should be a match, as long as you're willing to swap the yoke.

Otherwise, if you ohm out the yoke wires and you see less than 15 ohms on the vertical, you should be OK to use the existing yoke with your K7000.

Stay away from the Sony Trinitrons, they're NOT compatible.

I would have bought yours but I ended up blowing a 100 dollars at benihanas on Saturday ;-) gonna have to wait until Thursday when I get paid again.

Anyways I'm hoping to just swap the tube out as the pic is still dim green appears to be pretty weak.

This question comes up a lot. "What's the list of compatible TV's for xxxx monitor". There isn't any. There are so many thousands of different models of television set, there's NO WAY to create such a list. Any list is going to be incomplete. Not only that, TV manufacturers are no better than any other maker of consumer electronics - they change the internal components without making an obvious change to the casing or model number. This was real common on computer monitors, and I've seen it on TV's in the past as well.

Just find a 25" TV, and check it yourself. Most of the tubes you find will be compatible - the yoke is hit or miss, but you won't know until you check.

Be wary that 27" was a much more common size for televisions in later years, and if you can't tell the difference by looking, bring a measuring tape. But 25" sets are easy to spot, the tube will be more curved, whereas the 27" sets seem flatter.

Avoid flat faced tubes and Trinitron sets.

For a case of beer I'll stop out with my rejuvenator and shoot your current tube. I'm sure we can get the green up and running.

Or.....you can have my 25" tube. Then I'll just sell my chassis here on the forums ;)

Cold and free is good. Cold, free, and delivered to my house is even better.

Like you NEED an excuse to come and play your choice of any of my games.

I hear the drive to Osceola is very pretty.

Well have to work something out in the near future for sho! I still need to reassemble the cp before the game is good to go.

I used a Philips/Magnavox tube with a Wei-ya chassis a k7000 replacement if that helps.
