hey guy's can I use this tube as a k7000 tube swap.
PHILLIPS TUBE NO# A48ADE01. (heater 6.3) (G1 50V) (NECK CR31)
ohms 13.6 5.5 8 pin small neck
I was wondering if the 5.5 is a little to high for a k7000 yoke I didn't want to change the yoke if I didn't have to. didn't want to mess around with all the adjustment and all when changing the yoke. thanks for any info

5.5 is a bit high yes but you could try it to see.

here is a vid i did using a yoke almost like yours.

what will happen if the yoke reading is to high regarding the 5.5 will it fry the chassi or the image wont look right ?

it could damage the chassis.

or it would just go into HV shutdown.

i do not know as i have not had anything happen yet.

which TV did you use and what was the neck size. CR31?

for me personally i do not know or care whet models they are as it really does not mater to much.
either they will work, or they are good for some parts to make other things.

i pickup every free/extremely cheap TV i find.

i look to see if it starts with A48 or A63 and if it does it is almost a winner.
fat or skinny neck does not bother me as i can swap them into almost any chassis type G07, K7000, Sanyo, 4900 and 74,75,U5000.

if i have to swap the yoke oh well it happens but that is the price we must pay for good looking monitors.
