I once came across a post by the one and only Ken Layton, where he posted a list of the most commonly found cap values when repairing / recapping monitors.

I'm about to go stock up on caps and tried to find his post / list, but cant.

I tried to PM him with no response...

Anyone else know of the list im referring to ?

There are a few errors on that chart.

I made up my own if anyone wants it. It contains the most common chassis' used - G07, K4600, K4900, K7000, 20EZ, & K6100...

BTW - I would've attached it here if I could've but the file is slightly too big to be an attachment.

This means that if you contact me for the list I made, you need to include an e-mail address. I've already had two PMs asking me to send it to them, but no e-mail info...

Aha! I found my list over at BYOAC forums:

I think that's the one you were looking for.

It is suggested, but not required, to order 105 degree temperature rating capacitors instead of the more common 85 degree ones. This is because of the enclosed nature of where the monitors are and the heat buildup. Of course in a home use environment, the 85 degree versions will be fine.
