Hey Turkey!

I'm considering trading my Williams "Comet" pinball located in Indianapolis. I like the game a lot, but I'm looking for a pin that is more in keeping with the theme of my game room.

The Comet is working great, has a perfect backglass and good playfield with intact factory mylars and minimal wear. Brand-new chrome legs, and the actual cabinet has some wear but has been nicely touched up. A great playing machine! Happy to send pics and video if someone has a pin for trade and wants to talk. I'm in Indy but willing to travel 200 miles or so to the surrounding states to meet for a trade. I go to Cincinnati and Louisville often.

Ideally I'm looking for something from the 1980's in a Swords & Sorcery theme, like Swords of Fury, Dungeons & Dragons, Paragon, Medusa, Pharaoh, Sorcerer, etc, or something horror/monster themed like Gorgar, Elvira, Tales from the Crypt, that sort of thing. Happy to consider other titles than the ones listed, those are just the ones that I know offhand. Willing to add or take cash to balance unequal trades.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

That is avery nice looking comet you have there. I wish mine looked as good as yours does. Good luck with your search for the other pins your looking for.

Is that a Volkswagen 'Thing' in your driveway?

Yeah, but it is not mine, it is my neighbor's. He fixes up old stuff too!

On the subject of the Comet -- new rubbers have just arrived, so I'll be installing them this weekend!

Maybe not what you are looking for but I have a working Flip Flop pin and a Rack-A-Ball pin. And a not working Atari wide body Space Riders.

Thanks, but I'm really looking to trade for something in a fantasy theme, like Sorcerer, Swords of Fury, Paragon, etc. I'm hoping I'll be able to set up a trade, since there were about a bazillion fantasy themed pinballs in the 80's... happy to wait for one to come along, we like playing Comet anyway!

The Comet is still available... I might be going up to the Pinball at the Zoo in Michigan in a couple weeks -- if anyone is also going and wants to talk about a possible trade, give me a shout...

Just made a short video of the Comet in action. We turned off the lights to better see the light-show...

Please, no wise-cracks about my playing, I admit I'm not great at pinball. But I did manage to 'dunk the dummy' twice! :)

What the hell, let's bump this! Love to trade this nice pin for something in a 'swords & sorcery' or 'sci-fi' theme!

Watch my video and see how bad I play:

(Though I did 'dunk the dummy' a couple times!)

How about TX Sector, cool Gottlieb themed sci-fi fantasy. Sounds and music, ramps.

I am in teh Detroit area

Traded with Smisch! Thanks a bunch, Steve is a class act, and was very patient with me finding the right time to make the road-trip to Detroit!
