I recently bought a 2005 Golden Tee board and hard drive, and would like to know how to combine the two in the one cabinet, what extras I will need, and the cost, if you know.

Thanks,

You need a JAMMA / trackball switcher. IT makes an official switcher but it is very pricey (I have one, I managed to pick mine up for a decent deal).

The cheaper multi-JAMMAs out there would work to switch the video but I am not sure about the trackball.

Here is the link to the HAPP page for the "official" switcher...

EDIT: Holy crap that is an insane price... I paid no where NEAR that... thankfully.

Holy crap, I may as well have just bought it in a cabinet for the price of that, and the motherboard kit.

I am going to be doing this same thing with my Golden Tee 2005 and The Simpsons Bowling. I'm going to be using a Mike's Arcade switcher and interfacing the two games' trackball connections via some in-line diodes. Should work the same as the Multi-MK setups where the diodes block the feedback grounds from the other boards. Should be able to simply install them in-line with the trackball wires where the trackball will work with both games. I'll see if that process works or not shortly and report back. Could save you $400.

Hey man. Were you ever able to get this working? I would be interested.

Yup. I used a $135 Mike's double jamma switcher (2-in-1) and just spliced the trackball wires together.....

only problem is that isnt golden tee medium res? and simpsons bowling standard res? or are you just playing both at standard res? how much worse does golden tee look?

Not sure they'll remember since this thread is almost 6 years old...
