Got a Turbo Outrun mini cabinet last week.
Works perfectly except for one thing, the colors are VERY messed up.
The graphics them selves look as they should, but the grey streets are purple etc.
Looking at the colorbars in the test menu, the grayscale goes from white, grey to purple.
And red, blue and green is messed up as well, except for a few steps in the bars.
I know there is a suicide battery on the PCB, but if that´s was dead the entire game wouldn´t start up at all.
Anyone had the same problem? Gonna clean the eproms and see if it helps, but i doubt it...
Maybe burning new eproms would solve the problem?
As mentioned above, everything else works perfectly.
Btw, wonder if the suicide battery has been changed during the last years.
Forgot to ask the guy I bought it from since i didn´t know the PCB even had one until a few days ago
After 21 years, the original battery should be dead by now, right?
