Color Tapper

That is pretty sweet.

I enjoyed playing the Tapper at CAX that had all the Simpsons characters on it. That was awesome.

I also played the machine right next to it, just like a Tapper game, but you cut down trees. I cant think of the name, but that was a fun, fun game too.

Maybe it is just me but I can't stand it when people list stuff in ALL CAPS 25 point COMIC SANS. I mean come on, it looks unprofessional and it's difficult to read.

Why oh why?

That would be TIMBER

Thats what it was! That game is freaking awesome. I wish it would have been for sale

Ok, getting ready to show my age again. But back when I started using computers. All we had was UPPERCASE.

My first computer was a TRS-80 Model 1 with 4K RAM, Anyone else?

Do you know who owned the Tapper with the Simpsons on it? I know a guy in Iowa that was having one made for a charity auction, but never heard who won it.

HA! My first computer was a TRS-80 as well! Don't know about model # but I remember having to hand code games from a magazine and it took hours to type everything in properly and then I had no way to save it so as soon as I turned the PC off goodbye game....lol. I remember hand coding a game just like Arkanoid but I think it was called Powerball. I hated the TRS-80.... what a piece of crap compared to the real cool computers like the Amiga. ;)

Apple IIc all the way! Conan the Barbarian.... Space Quest.... Legacy of the Ancients... Russki Duck....

Commodore 64.... Silent Service.... Gunship.... Destroyer best three c64 games out there. I had a million games on the C64... Load"*",8,1 LOL! :D

Amiga... Shadow of the Beast... Echelon... Blood Money... Deluxe Paint... Turbo Silver (took hours to render one ray traced frame, lol)

Not a fair comparison. You had a TRS-80 model 1 which came out in '77 and you're comparing it to the Amiga that came out 8 years later!

8 years of computer improvements was FOREVER in those days. '85 to '77 was night and day different.
