Color problems with Burgertime. Black hotdogs to red hotdogs back to black. HELP!

the problem: hot dogs and patties were currently black on my burgertime. was like that when I got it. I was told that all I have to do is swap out the R-Drive and RED pots on the neckboard and that would solve the problem...

So I did and it worked, for about 20 mintunes. When I went to push the cabinet back into place, The once red hotdogs and hamburger patties went back to black. I went to recheck the solders and it all seems fine. The screen went all red for a bit, but thats becasue I had a wire in the wrong place.

Anyone know what I should do? I've been working all day on this and I'm about to throw in the towel.

you gave no info to what chassis you have.

it is hard to give tips without this info.

what monitor/chassis do you have post pics if you do not know.

thanks smalltownguy2

OK then that helps.

it needs a good re-flow of the entire neck.

a full cap out and re-flow of the main chassis.

make sure your video input wires are making good connection.

clean your game board connections to ensure good conductivity in their harnesses.

ohm out your video input wires from your PCB to the monitor.

any of theses things could cause your problems.
