I'm not entirely happy with the colors on one of my Sanyo 20-EZs.

As you can see (hopefully) in these pictures, my yellow and white are a little "off," as compared to the red. No blue in this pic, but my blue is fine too.

The yellow is not a perfect yellow, it has sort of a red/green edging to it, and my white has a similar problem. White ends up being much more of a "pink" on this monitor than it is on another Sanyo that I cross-tested it with, which gives a pure, blazing white.

Obviously something like this is hard/impossible to photograph true-to-life, but I'd like to get suggestions. (I put in two shots of the white, which vary because of what my camera's light balance was deciding to do from moment to moment, but together as an aggregate they give a good general impression of what's going on.)

Does it look like I need to adjust my yoke rings? Never done that before.

Yep, the rings should do it, just mark them as they are now so if you get too far off you can reset them and start over. Its not difficult, just time consuming to adjust them.

So I just went ahead and started messing around with them.

(Something I try not to do with any of this stuff.)

I fixed the problem to my satisfaction.

That really wasn't anything! The manual, and KLOV, led me to believe that adjusting these rings was serious business, but they're no hairier than adjusting a pot.

And there was nothing to undo/unscrew, at least in my case.

I just wish DK, or DK Jr., had test patterns! They're the only two Nintendo PCBs I have. That would make this a lot easier...
