I am a novice at this to begin with. I have a wg k7000 monitor that I had a guy do some work on the chassis to get it working. When I got it back the colors were all jacked up, screen mostly purple, with yellow corners. The guy told me to adjust the colors on the neck board and it didn't help much. Any suggestions other than finding a new guy to work on monitors for me.

Your monitor is 'degaussed'. If you don't have a degaussing ring, you can use an old drill. Plug it in, and get it near the screen, pull the trigger. The screen will do all kinds of crazy tie-died stuff, move the ring or drill away from the screen until it's not affecting it, and let go of the trigger. Do it a few times until everything looks even.

Tried the drill. It affected the yellow but went back to the same. Mather center of screen is blue then it goes up and out to purple and the top corners are yellow
