Collection Dilemma

Operation: Reclaim The Basement is complete. All machines that are leaving are in the garage, waiting to be claimed and the ones that are staying have been arranged nicely and now I have space for actual furniture and a place to hang out when it's too hot upstairs. Kind of wish I'd done this when I moved originally but hey, it's happening now. Don't think I'll miss any of the machines that are leaving and I still have a nice, respectable collection. Don't foresee myself getting any new machines unless something comes along that I REALLY want, then we'll see. For now, it will stay like this.

That looks awesome man, love the way you have them arranged too. Well done. Love all of your game choices too. You can put a bar, or TV and couch on the other side now.

I'm glad you "rightsized" your collection, Zeno.

Way too many people burn themselves out of this hobby with too many games. Sounds like you're down to the ones you really like now and that's a good thing. :)

@zenomorp:

why would u sell the luscious "Machine: Bride Of Pinbot" pinball and keep the shitty Rush the Rock sitdown for???

I didn't. It's still in the line up. I've decided to keep it because I need at least one pin.

Thanks demogo.

You know, as time goes on, I realize that I get much more satisfaction and enjoyment out of repairing and restoring arcade machines than I get from actually playing them. I have 33 machines and I only play a select few of them, maybe 10 or so. So I find myself constantly contemplating selling everything off with the exception of those 10 or so. After I acquire a new machine and repair/restore it, it has a tendency to just sit there. Anyone else experience this dilemma? I know that the moment I sell them, I'd regret it, even though while I have them, I don't play them. Seems like a waste. Anyone else relate?

Man, I need to stop down and check out your collection before you decide on another selloff. I find myself in Wichita almost weekly.
