I posted a few days ago about the new site we've launched (CollectedIt.com) and heard back from a quite a few people who really like the site, but we'd like to get more people motivated to post and show off their stuff. We're thinking it is time for a promotional contest, here goes:

Best Arcade Collection:
The KLOVer to post the best game room collection by May 31st, 2012 gets their choice of ONE of the following prizes:
• Donkey Kong Sideart and CPO Set
• Galaga Artwork Set (CPO, Sideart x 2 and Kickplate)
• Obscure Game CPO Set (Mad Planets, Carnival, Galaga '88 CPOs)
• Dragon's Lair Art Set (Marquee, Sideart x 2, CPO)
• Space Ace Art Set (Marquee, Sideart x 2, CPO)

Game room collections can include arcade games, pinball machines, arcade parts, game room décor, you get the idea.

Best Non-Arcade Collection:
The KLOVer to post the best Non-arcade collection by May 31st, 2012 gets their choice of ONE of the following prizes:
• $100 QuarterArcade.com Gift Certificate
• $50 Amazon.com Gift Card and QuarterArcade.com T-Shirt
• Dragons Lair and Space Art Sets (marquee, sideart x 2, CPO) for both games.

Non-arcade collections can include pretty much anything: coins, cards, toys, antiques, console video games, comic books, if you collect it, than it counts.

Honorable Mentions:
QuarterArcade.com t-shirts will be given out to collections that we deem are worth of honorable mentions as well.

So how do we judge the best collections? Judging will be based on the personal tastes of CollectedIt!'s founders (what we think is cool), the desirability votes tallied by the website, and other random top secret factors.

Our goal is get people using the site and posting any kind of collectibles, arcade games, coins, baseball cards, antiques, whatever you think is collectible. Please note that when posting a collection you must submit an image with every item you list. I've starting added some of the collections already and adding items is very simple.

You can read more about the site here: http://blog.collectedit.com/

You must send me a PM or email with your collection name or CollectedIt user name to be eligible for the contest. You have until the end of May to submit your collection(s).

So, let's see what you got!

Can I enter??????

Anybody can enter, but you need to submit images of each item that you own (one image per item is fine).

So it doesn't have to be a pic of a room full of the collection? My stuff has been packed away for a while til i get settled into the new house some more. I do have a few pics that could show the extent of my collection and what it is i think.

We prefer items to be listed individually, but if you want to submit some pictures of the larger portions of a collection that is fine as well. We will have support shortly for "showcase" images, basically images of the entire collection on display.

How about a drawing for all those who enter? I know my small collection will never win, but it would be fun to know I have a chance at something...like say a Robotron cpo. :D

Bumping this up, have a few people say they were going to post stuff, but not too many responses as of yet.

At this point chances of getting a prize are pretty high, so post your stuff!

I clicked on the links people have provided and they are not working. Is there a age limit on this? I only ask because even xbox has age limits for winning things.

Thanks for posting guys, keep them coming, we have quite a few people signed up without collections up yet.
