Testing is done on these guys and they are ready to go.
I have only 50 of them available... once those go I'll have to see if I can get another batch of PCBs made up.
Grab'em while they're hot!
:)

Pricing is the same as before.. $20 shipped to your door.

I'll finish the installation/users manual this week.
Thanks!

I just placed an order for a couple of them. I know I have one of the older ones around somewhere, but I can't find it. I am hoping these work with my Gremlin black and whites...

I love the concept of this product. I have a couple of games that are on jamma switchers. To switch games, I have to press P1 and P2 start at the same time. So, will switching games credit and start them at the same time? Sorry for the one off question.

Yeah. So the 1UP version is not what you want. You could use the older version with button delay though. Press 1P + 2P to switch your games and then when you have the game you want, hold down 1P to start coining up the game.

Very cool, I wish it would work on Sprint 2, but it needs to see both no and nc so a simple gnd pulse won't do it. Good luck with the sales - Barry

Serious? What are there 2 switches in the coin mech? What about leaving the nc open and pulsing the no. Would that work?

Excellent. Is there an option to have the game add 2 credits with 1 pulse? Or just pulse it twice? Also, does this work for 4 player games like nba jam?

Thanks,
Robert

Yep.. there's a DIP switch option to send 1-2 credits for a 1P game and 2-4 credits for a 2P game. I'll have to look up the schematic for NBA Jam to see how it's wired up. Does each player have it's own coin slot like Xmen?

No, just 2 slots. But it takes 4 credits to start a single player full game. In NBA Jam, 1 credit gets you 1 quarter of play. I looked at the manual. I believe I could make it work. If I set it up to a 2 second delay, and hold down P1 start, will it add credits, then I hit start to start a game, or will it automatically start a game?

The non 1UP (older) version will just add credits after you hold the 1P button down for a certain period of time. It won't credit the game automatically.
So yeah you could hold it down until 4 credits are acquired then just tap it again to start the game.

Sweet. Sorry for taking up the thread. Once holiday spending is done, I'd like to try 1 of each out.

Both of the games I would want to use this with (Sprint2 and Armor Attack) use both the NO & NC connections on the coin switch.

Mark lost me when he started talking about cross coupled nands as a latch. I really should have taken some electronics courses in college.

Will the CoinUps work with these setups?

Attached is the schematics for the Armor Attack coin switch setup.

Here's the schematic. The red circled part is where the two coin switch wires connect. I don't know enough to decipher the circuit.

Got it yesterday and hooked it up today. Really great. Does just what I need it to. Great idea and design, sir. Now that I know it works with my 90's Midway boards, I'll likely need a couple more in the near future. Thanks, again.

Awesome! Glad to hear it.
