In the process of setting up shipment with this company and will post my experience for the greater good of all collectors. I've found limited information out there. Working with a gentlemen by the name of Jeff Rivera. Shipment will be making the trip from Oregon to Ohio. The price is right $396.56 for a Midway S.A.M.I and Panzer Attack. This is a liftgate to liftgate service and residential to residential.

If the care and service is to the level it should be I will let you all know...

Wish me luck!

I know a few people that have used them and have been happy with them.
I think their price was alot less then that though.

Thanks for responding to my post. They we're the lowest with the next closest being $250.00 higher. So I jumped on it. Checked NAVL, Allied, uSHIP. I accepted the bid yesterday about 11 a.m. however I didn't receive a phone call from the shipping company. Emailed Jeff at CoinOpShippers this morning to check status.

At this point feel a bit better about my decision since you shared this information with me. Interested in closing the deal today. We'll see what happens...

Update & S.A.M.I./Panzer History

My last contact with CoinOpShippers was last week after I agreed to the shipment and I hadn't been contacted by the shipping company. So I left a voicemail yesterday at lunch. Still no response this morning so I sent yet another email explaining that I was dissappointed in the lack of communication and a few additonal thoughts.

I received an email immediately from Jeff apologizing and call on my cell while at Chipotle' (another one of my addictions) for a lunch meeting from the shipper which was Freightwire. Megan was helpful apologized profusely had me confused with another customer and set my shipment up quickly with no trouble. So all is well and they use FedEx Freight.

I asked for a tracking number she stated when they shipped she'd provide one via email. Confirmed it was liftgate service on both ends. A small bump in the road I digress...

So moving on I contacted the seller to let him know they'd be calling. I asked him about the games, why he was getting rid of them, as I always believe every game has a story/history...right?

He told be that they belonged to a gentlemen who is in his 80's, recently had a stroke, has an arcade business /and a arcade, and has owned these games as long as he could remember. He was selling them for this gentlemen as he no longer could maintain the arcade or business in Ashland, Oregon.

Thought it was cool story to share...I'll keep you posted on what the games look like when they arrive (very nervous)...update when the games arrive...

Rejected Freight

O.K. ran into a snafu...seller emailed me the freight was rejected due to not being packaged properly. This is my fault as I assumed this was a blanket wrap service. Matter of fact I thought I asked if it was. I didn't read enough or ask the right questions.

So I began looking for a company to go in and pack these two games correctly. Seller offered to pack for $100.00 so I took him up on it due to the inconvenience that I caused him and probably would have cost as much or more to have someone come in and do it.

So they are ready to go and will ship at some point tomorrow. They should arrive within 5-7 days...lessons learned make sure you know whether it's truly blanket wrap or if it needs secured, wrapped in cardboard, strapped to a skid, and shrunk wrapped.

Still saved $150.00 to $170.00 off my other two quotes so still happy...

Final Post Games Delivered

Final Post on the CoinOps Shippers. Besides the first glitch where Freight Wire confused me with another customer everything went smooth. However this is not a blanket wrap service like Allied or NAVL.

The freight must be on a skid, wrapped in cardboard, and banded to a skid as the carrier is FedEx freight.

I thought the price was right and the service was above average. A tracking number was provided. It was a learning experience for me as it was my first arcade game shipment. The games arrived as they were shipped by the seller in Ashland, Oregon.

Any questions about this send me a PM...
