I placed an order in early November and immediately paid. I haven't gotten any response to messages, and I have not received my order.
I've ordered from Jbuck before with no issues, does anyone know if he is OK and still doing business?

Thanks,

Thanks,

There was a thread about this over the last few months. It took people a really long time to get their orders. Have a read...

Great. I hope I get my stuff or my money returned. I ordered the parts to get a machine running for when a friend was visiting from out of town. That time came and went and the machine still sits non-working and awaiting parts.

I'm waiting for some Pokey chips myself. I put in the order on Nov 10. Order update to processing on Nov 15. Wish I had searched the forum before ordering.

I have still not gotten any response. I am going to try one more message, then file a paypal dispute if I get no response.
I'm really getting sick of these "businesses" doing this crap. How hard is it to send a product when you take someones money?

This seems to be a contagious disease among people that sell video game chips...Jbuck has been around a long while and has a good rep so I'm sure something is up.But this does indeed suck...

Wasn't/isn't the guy fighting cancer? Who knows what may have happened if you get my drift. I certainly hope the guy's OK.

I don't know what health issues he has , but about a month and a half ago he was in the hospital . It did take little over a month to get my order but it did come , and all the chips worked great and I got my Defender working .

I need to buy a whole messa parts soon, but now I'm not really sure who to buy from.

I know Mark at arcadechips came in for some criticism a while back, but a month or so ago I ordered from him after not getting a reply from coinopchips and I'm glad I did. He was very quick at replying to emails, had great prices (he gave me a better deal than his website stated, even though I'd never ordered from him before and wasn't buying a lot), and he shipped quickly. He was also upfront about the issues he'd had in the past. Based on my experience, I'd certainly order from him again with no second thoughts.

I don't know what is going on in his personal life. This was a business transaction, and I don't know anything about the guy. He finally responded last night and said the parts are on the way...about an hour after I had ordered the same parts from Bob Roberts. Now I guess I have spares

Hi guys, I am still among the living. In the interest of not repeating myself, please see this thread for reference -> http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?p=984525#post984525

Thanks for the reply. Here is why I had an issue:
My first order with you a few months ago was great. Ordered some RAM and had it in my mailbox within a few days. I was completely satisfied and you set a standard of great service.
Fast forward a few months and I need more RAM, and you were the first place I went since I had such a positive experience before.
I placed my order and had an expectation of receiving the order as quickly as before. When the status of my order had not changed after a week or so, I sent a message both here and on your site and got no response. That raised red flags. I can't remember exactly what transpired after that, but I never got a response to my messages. Finally 25 days or so after my order you responded.
My only real beef is the lack of communication. I have plenty of projects, and since I missed getting it fixed for when my friend was visiting, I could have easily patiently waited for the parts and worked on other things...IF you would have told me you couldn't get to my order.
Lack of communication is what kills any relationship, be it business or a personal relationship.
You've taken care of me, and I appreciate it. I hope to see you get your business going and reputation back to what it was. When it gets there, I'll give it another shot.

Hi,

I am still around at www.arcadechips.com if anyone needs any parts. I dont read the forums or post like I use to, have not gotten back into it after it left the newsreaders:(

Take it easy and have a happy holiday season,
Mark Capps

I just wanted to follow up and say that Jbuck went above and beyond to make this up to me.

Thanks Rob, you are back on the good guy list.
