Last night I swapped out the coin mechs on my T-Mek. Token ones were installed and I swapped in quarter mechs. The mechs work great, quarters go right through to the coin bucket. However on two of the slots, it does not coin up. Even when I manually do it, still nothing. I'm not sure if they worked before when the token mechs were in because I just had it set on free play. Where should I start with my troubleshooting?

Check the wiring harness that goes to the coin door. More than a couple times I've seen a wire broken off... probably the ground.

Here's your fix. Cut small strips of electrical tape and put over the slots. That way only the working one can be used :)

Nah, i'd bet there are some broken wires at the switches. Since one is working, it's probably not the ground. These wires seem to break a lot. Maybe because they are on the door and probably have hard a rough life being coined up by big clumsy fingered people.

Wouldn't that cause all the slots to no coin up then, since they all run through the same wiring harness, and I'm assuming, have the same ground wire?

They do, but I was referring to the part of the harness on the door itself that connects to the switches. The ground is usually chained from one switch to the next, so a broken ground wire somewhere in there will cause the others not to work. I've seen a lot of broken wires on coin door switches.
