Pics if the guts to my coin pusher. The edges on the spinning wheel are beveled so the coin doesn't have an edge to catch on. The pusher rides on rails, but you might be able to use drawer slides. There are chutes on the side of the lower level to catch those coins.

A few more pictures.

The spinning wheel is directly bolted on to a gear reduction motor.

The pusher has an arm with a bearing bolted to the motor that pushes and pulls the pusher back and forth.

Very simple design.

I changed the wiring. There used to be a button that stops the wheel. I didn't like it so I made a new face plate for two modified coin mechs. The pusher and the wheel are on when the machine is on. There is a light that isn't hooked up.

The mechs are modified to accept a penny to a quarter.

There are no locks on this. Just one screw holds the front door closed. Since it is in my home who needs locks

It gets cleaned out yearly and the proceeds go toward Christmas presents.

Almost $300 a year just from loose change.
