Ok, here's a new one on me - I'm in the 'Kidzrule' fun center in Hatfield, PA and they have a game called 'The Rock'. It's a rock climbing wall, but mounted on a sort of coveyer belt assembly with tilt capabilities. After you put in your $2, you start to climb and it starts to move - and you just have to climb fast enough to keep up.

It's even more difficult than that, though, because after a bit, the top tilts out toward you, leaving you having to hold on, as well as climb. Looking at the control kiosk, I think it has different programs you can select.

I think this is a neat idea (even if I won't shell out the $2 for my 7 year old to do it). Has anyone else seen one of these?

Sadly, the manufacturer's web site is just a search landing page for a domain squatter, so I'm suspecting it didn't sell well.

Yeah these things are pretty difficult! Fun nonetheless. There's one at Putt-Putt Golf in Richmond. It's worth a try but really it just gets too hard to even hold on at some points. I can see injuries happening even with the foam mat underneath.

The problem I see with that is that many parents would just let their kids climb on it without putting money in.

That machine looks like one helluva workout. I'd like to try it, even though I'm not a climber.

There was a neat climbing wall "mountain" at the GameWorks in Vegas at one time. I had to jump off the wall and let the cable holders catch me in order to ring the bell at the top, but I made it. :D
