Coin Door Pitting

I bring in a box full of parts, and leave with a several layered pile of stuff wrapped in sponge wrap. You just have to write it all down with diagrams or just match the parts to the cabs as you go.

Was sanding blasting included with that?

Sweet, I'll look into that. These guys are local to me and are very reasonable. No shipping charges, etc. My last batch was 5 complete coin doors, 2 control panels, 2 Sega coin boxes and 16 marquee/bezel brackets all for $96. Kinda hard to beat that. Thanks for the offer though.

That's a great deal! I wouldn't sandblast the parts for that.

yessir it was.
Nice! I've been kicking around the idea of getting a sand blasting cabinet, but I've never been sure it's justifiable. If I have a local place that can do the same thing, it seems like it's worth waiting on. I need to get a good air compressor first and that I'd likely be able to use for more than just the hobby.

It is a good deal, but they do tend to screw up at least one or 2 of the parts every time. Last time they powdercoated my tron joystick base while it was still inside of a sega coin box, basically welding the 2 parts together with powdercoat (they thought the box was compartmentalized). The time before that, they powdercoated the hinges shut on 3 of my coin doors, so when I tried to break them free the thick powdercoating broke along the hinge seams. They've gotten better and fixed their mistakes for free when I point them out, but it still sucks to have to have a few parts redone out of every batch. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

That's a stinking good deal (mistakes aside)!
