Where do you guys buy locks for the coin doors? Also, this is on a 4 player Simpsons cabinet, so I need 4 locks (2 for the coin mechs, 2 for the coin buckets). Is there a way to get them keyed the same? What about buying future locks with the same key?

I've tried seaching, but couldn't find anything...

Some of the guys here on the forums sell keyed alike coin door locks.

Sometimes you can find keyed alike cam locks at Lowe's and Home Depot. Just look in the package to see if the key numbers match before buying them.

TwistedQuarter.com sells them pretty cheap, depends if you want decent ones or just ones keyed alike as he sells ones all the same

Thanks for the info. When is says 7/8" or 1 1/8" lock, what is that measurement? Wanna get the right ones obviously...;)

Home Depot

I bought mine, a 7/8" one for my Donkey Kong Junior, from Home Depot this weekend for $5. This is one part I really didn't care if it was authentic. I just needed it asap to keep my one year old from opening the coin door when I wasn't looking. It worked great.

I'm in no rush (no kids, yet) so I'll support KLOVers and buy from "chips4sle" :D

I have bought hundreds of locks from Twisted Quarter. Always been very happy. If you just need a few, chips4sale on here is a good guy also.

It is actually the length from lip of the lock to the cam.
The cam length is the actual length of the cam lever itself.
If the lock is too long then you can get offset cams to make it work.

Thanks for correcting! That's what I meant, but typed incorrectly.

Thanks for the info guys. I went to to Home Depot and picked up the 1 1/8" lock for my Galaga. Fit perfect!
