I'm trying to wire the coin door lamps up for my Raiden Cabinet. I got the microswitches working correctly, and along with the grounds and coin start wires there was another +5v wire all coming from the board. Can I use this to power my coin lamps or should I run them straight from the power supply. I put a meter on it and it was only +4.83v. I hooked it up to the lamp and it was pretty dim.

Another question is were can I order more of these lamp holders? I tried to order some from suzo-happ and the ones the sent me are the ones in the third picture. Which is way different then the one I need which is picture 1 and 2.

I'd wire from power supply

I'd wire from power supply, what bulbs are you using there are 12volt and 6 volt bulbs if you are using a 12 volt bulb it will look very dim with 5 volts if you are using the 6 volt bulb it will be bright. Also show us what coin door you have, that socket they sent you is for the current happ doors. You might have a wells door.

you can also use it directly from the power supply I'm not sure what wedge lamps your using though. Is it possible that they require 12v instead of 6v ? Most likely you have 555 wedge lamps that require 6v. You can try 161 (194) Wedge 12V and run that off your power supply. They can be purchased for around 1.50-2.00 for 10pcs damn coinop you beat me...

Its a wells door. I order that socket under there wells coin door category on the site, maybe they just sent the wrong ones. I think it is a 555 so it should be bright enough. Will the voltage at the power supply be different then the voltage coming out of the board?

I'm not really sure you would want to hook up the lights directly off the PCB board ? Infact I'm slightly confused as to why you would install it that way. I would advise the easiest way would be just grabbing a new wire hooking it up to the power supply terminal / screw on the switching power supply 12v from the power supply daisy chain it to your two lamp holders along with a ground daisy chain (which if your coin mechs work, the microswitch that gives the game credits you can just daisy chain the ground off that or really anything, as opposed to going directly from the power supply for the ground although you can also do that.) Get a 10 piece 12v lamp box wedge's for like 2.00.
