I have need for a new, good quality coin counter that can handle around $200-$300 at a time. Anyone have any experience with these and can recommend specific brands and models? Thanks.

Anything made by KLOPP is good. Plus factory support for models going all the way back to 1960 dates. Our entire route used Klopp coin counters not only in the office, but also in the route trucks for our collection crew to use.

I use Semacon S-45s. They run around 800 but work great. I was trying to sell off some of mine but got more tokens in so decided not to sell any more off. I sold one. I have 5 in operation and one that I have to open up and fix.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the info.

Anyone else have any thoughts about these or others?

Downey-Johnson are also good.

The Klopp's we had were in use constantly. Every ten years we sent them (one at a time so as no to leave us "short-handed" ) back to the factory for rebuilding. They came back looking and working like new.
