I have several Coin Comparitors (SG-738) that have started not to work after a few years. At first I tried to just reseat the coins, sometimes that would work, and then when it started not to work I adjusted the sensitivity and they worked for a while longer, and now they just reject everything. they are getting correct voltage. I bought a spare and replaced one, but would like to be able to fix the one I have at the shop now and start swapping them on location. I tested the esr of all of the Caps and still haven't found the problem.
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with Coin Comparitors... what should I check next? LEDs? Resisters? chip programing?
