My parents dropped off a Star Trek machine that I bought in Boise last weekend.

I had to laugh. the coin box was something I have never seen before. someone screwed a old cool whip container just below the coin mech:eek:
I should have haken a picture. I got a good laugh. it looked to be atleast 20 years old.

Anyone else find weird homemade coin boxes??

Haha...sorry, maybe we should have disclosed that little detail. I remember getting a good laugh out of it as well when we first saw it. Are you happy with the game (other than the cool whip coin box)? :D

Yea it was funny I looked in and saw it, told my son to grab it. He said its screwed down, we both started laughing. I removed it had another coin box to put in it.

Yes very happy. it plays blind. I have a G08 in the basement that im going to try in it. Dokert is going to be here later today, so I might not have time until tomorrow.

Star Trek is one of my favorite machines. Thanks to you and Dave again:)

Congratulations on the Star Trek. I think everyone should have one or two or three.
I wish I could find an original coin box for my cockpit. It took me years before I could even find a picture of what it looks like. The first picture is what I think it should look like. The second picture is one someone sent me where they made access to the coin box in the front of the cabinet but the coin box door is in the back of the monitor base not the front so it was home made.If I don't find one I will have to make one. As for other games with home made coin boxes, I haven't seen any, sometimes the boxes are missing but when I opened up my Pong Doubles for the first time I thought some one had replaced the coin box as it had a rectangular loaf pan, like you bake in but after a little research I found out it was original but it sure looks funny.:D
