I have a Coin Acceptor inc. Model F150-9802, Serial # 8470 in a snack machine.
Suddenly all coins fall straight thru to the coin return slot. It does not accept any coins or register them either.
Any suggestions? The machine is now sitting "out of order" and of course full of product.
I have tried unplugging the machine and hitting the reset button.
I added::
To update, When I remove the coin mech from the rest of the body, I see two plastic arms marked "do not remove" that seem to maybe be part of a solenoid? They were protruding out, the coins would hit these fingers that were in the path of the coins, which would direct the coins to the coin return.
I taped this down, and the coins went into the coin box, but it still did not vend when selecting a button. I sorta wondering if these "solenoids" come out when the machine has had enough money put in to vend, so customers don't over pay and their extra money comes back out to them.
But that doens't explain why it doesn't vend when you press the selection number.
Any way to bypass the number panel to "make" it vend?
Thanks..
Steve
