I opened up my multicade cocktail to put in a new 60-1 board, the odd thing is that when the cabinet top is back to its full colsed position the color is washed out, however if I move the top to the open position the color is back to normal. As I move the top back to rest I can see the color begin to wash out. Everything was perfectly fine before hand.

Any ideas as to what it could be?

Thanks
Greg

How do I do that?

Turn off power to the machine. Let sit at least 30 minutes. Now turn on power again. The built-in auto degauss should work and colors should be back to normal. If not then you need to buy a handheld manual degaussing coil from one of the vendors like good old Bob Roberts.

I took all of your advice and it work, everything is good in the world. By the way the 60-1 board in terms of color and sound are far superior than the 48-1 board that I had.

Thanks
Greg
