So now that my hand is healed up and im able to fully work on things again I decided last week to start a cocktail multi game cabinet build (60-1) So after deciding not to use the cocktail my trivia wars was in I figured I would just build a new one. Black Melame is hard to come by here as you need to order minimum of 8 sheets so I used plywood. I will post a picture later of the cabinet. It turned out great and once I get the t-molding installed its going to look even better! Then I shall install the glass topper and monitor and possibly even a wiring harness and power supply (if I have time) and then I will just need to source a coin door and mechs. Eventually I will need to replace the monitor as its a g07 that has some burn but its the only spare I have laying around that wasnt broken lol. so yeah will post pics later.

So I need an opinion, was thinking about placing some sort of artwork around the coin door and wanted some opinions first! Any ideas as to what will look good?

Woodprint vinyl is the only correct answer. :D

nah lol not looking for the woodgrain look

I've never been able to figure out why woodgrain is the de facto standard for most cocktails. A few--Atari Football, Demolition Derby, etc were pretty cool looking.

Other than those, you could maybe look at kickplate art from upright cabinets as inspiration. Mappy, for example, might be a style that would work on a cocktail.

Good luck.

might just work for a style i was actually not sure about my idea but thinking about placing random graphics around it like characters from games that are on the multi board?

Here are a couple pictures but im thinking of just staining it and adding artwork later?

I'd just stick with all Black for the sides... Do the multi-graphics on the top only.

If you end up putting graphics on the sides, use stickers so you could remove easily later. Personally, I have never seen a cab with random graphics on it that looked good...

BTW, that table looks badass! Nice job.
