Hey guys,
been awhile but I am back for a new project with a friend. Buddy got a cocktail cabinet with Super Qix in it but he is a fan of Space Invaders, Galaga, etc.
So he is purchasing the cocktail cabinet Jamma 60-1 online and replacing the bezel, power supply, monitor tube with an LCD and ofcourse the buttons and mini stub joysticks,
If we go the route of the LCD monitor and new PSU including the Jamma 60-1 , what factors must we consider? We were going to rewire the whole system as its a mess in there and the existing PSU is all soldered on and the power plug is all chewed up.
System still works but he wants to gut it and start fresh. He will probably end up selling the Super Qix PCB as well.
Are there any big "Watch Outs!" that we have to consider? Will a standard Widscreen 21" LCD work with the Jamma board?
How about the Power Supply he chooses for the Jamma Board?
