I have a Rally-X cocktail cabinet I was thinking of converting to Pac-man since I have the Pac-man control panels. The problem is that when I got the cabinet it had no feet and as a result there is damage to the wood at the bottom because side walls had been sitting directly on the floor.

I have to tools and know-how to repair the damage, but this would of course entail having to get new laminate for the entire cabinet which is where the major costs would be. So I'm looking for opinions on whether other Klovers would bother repairing and then perhaps selling the empty cabinet, selling it as a complete game, or would they just junk it? (I really don't have room for any more cabinets. Especially cocktails).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, if you're going to wind up junking it, let me know. I've been looking for a cocktail for a project I want to do. Or, depending on what you'd be getting rid of with it as far as any controls, coin doors, etc, I'd buy it from you as long as the price is right. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

As for selling. I'd actually like to trade it for something I may need. Like a TV tube that is compatible with one of my chassis'(G07, 4900, 4600, Matsushitsa, K6100, etc.). :)

I'd still do the cab repair, but like I said, once it is done the cabinet would need new laminate.

I do have control panel blanks. I'd have to look around for anything else.

I was also thinking of stripping the old cracked Rally-X artwork from the glass top and using the Eastwood polishing kit I have.
