I need some custom frames cut from 1x4 lumber. I need 2 boards routed out to look film strip edges and they each need to be about 48" long. They will be the top and bottom of a movie lobby card triptych. Can anyone help? I could do this myself with a hand router, but it would look nicer and go faster with a CNC. Something that would look like this:
But I only need the top and bottom. I would think the routed squares/rectangles should be about 2 inches tall, 2-3 inches wide and there should be 3-4 inches between them. Looks like the placement of the gear holes should be closer to the outside edges to get the proper look, but I suppose they could be centered. Whattaya think? Brett? Anyone? Thanks in advance.
