Hey all,

I have a clutch hitter that will start and the graphics are perfect. You can choose between one and two players, pick your team, the computer picks its team. The screen goes black and the actual game never starts, it just plays the theme music. Does anyone have any idea where on the board I should start looking for problems. It was working fine and after sitting for a while it is just not working. Is there a battery somewhere on the board that may be the problem?

Check the voltages at the chips to see what it is at. I don't think that is your problem but it could be low voltage.

Post a pic of the board so I/we can look for a battery.

Most problems, from sitting, are bad connections and bad/low voltages. Very well could be a battery but don't think that board has one. If it does it may have leaked and you have acid damage also :(.
