I thought all the stink what was raised a few years back prompted them to stop.

But, yeah, silly me.

I know as of about six months ago there were still reports of the shit practice in news articles here and there. I don't go to GS much since I hate them, so I couldn't confirm one way or the other. It'd be nice if they did, but the fact that they ever did that to begin with is enough to make me give them as little of my business as possible.

Anyway, I got my Platinum pin set in today. I gotta admit, it at least looks cool. Here's a couple of pics.

My pinset was shipped 9 days ago and I havent received it. Useually it takes 3 days for my club nintendo stuff. I wonder if it was lost in the mail? That happened with a wii remote holder i got from them last time.

I just picked up a second Wii Zapper that came with another copy of Link's Crossbow Training.. since I can't register two copies of the same game, if someone wants the extra code (50 coins) let me know and I'll PM it to you.

1. Get it because it's a pretty sweet collectible.
2. Wait until the next "big reward" that they decide to release after Ball goes out of stock or is discontinued.

I just hit Platinum, but honestly the only things I want are the posters and the mario shirt. I now must decide whether to pull the trigger or wait, because that announcement stating "More items coming soon!" is taunting me...

I'm suspecting somethng good is coming in January and it might be wise to wait.

Yeah, I was reading that and was hoping they'd say "So to make up for our mistake, we'll be sending all Gold members a Platinum reward!"

I was thoroughly disappointed.

Nothing major. Just a misspelling (NOBEMBER) on the mini calendar that comes with the main calendar.

Hmm if it's anything like sports cards or currency, mis-spellings could make it worth a bit more... I'd hang on to that if I were you.
