Hi,

I'm working on getting my C&D board working in my multi-williams cabinet (swapping jamma connections to play). A strange thing I've found is that move/fire is swapped. The multi williams (this is a defender cab) CP works great with ArcadeSD, JROK MWMS, and Arpicade. So I expected that the Jamma converter for the C&D would work correctly and use the joysticks in the same place. Is there a switch/option that would change this? I can't find anything.

I'd hate to have to build another adapter just to swap the joysticks. Swapping the connections to the sticks themselves is not an option as I want to use a Jamma switcher in this cabinet.

I haven't heard anyone say they are reversed on Mark's JAMMA adapter, but I also don't think anyone has tried using one in a JAMMA switcher environment. (And I'm not sure how you'd expect them to be 'properly' mapped anyway, as there is no 'correct' mapping for how they should have been mapped to JAMMA to begin with.)

Worst case if they are switched from what you want, you could just cut and jumper the traces on the JAMMA adapter, to swap them, which would require basic soldering tools/skills.

That's true... I could jumper them on the adapter. You're right... I don't know what the expected control layout for jamma is for P1/P2 for a C&D. I would have expected P1 to be (left) and P2 to be (right). But clearly that's not the case.
