Hi,
I have a baby Pacman. I had the playfield touched up by a artist. Ihe used oil based paints to touch up. I would like to clear coat the field. I have two issues. I forgot to clean off wax before he did his work. And two what clear coat should I use?
I am worried that the touchup will not stand up to a chemical wax remover. Does anyone know what I could use to strip wax? Also, what should I use for clear coat?
Thanks
Dan

Aww man, that sucks. Clear will never bond with the wax on there. He painted on the wax? I'm surprised an artist would do that. You have to get it all off, even if it means losing the touchups. Get some Naptha and hope for the best, you might have to have him touch it up again but it's the only way to go.
