Cleaning up a Midway coin door

So I got a nice brand new shiny DPTwiz Ms Pac cab last month, and I'm getting ready to put all kinds of parts back into it :)

Just got my coin door and frame back from the powdercoaters last week, and now I'm getting ready to put things back together:

My coin slot plates and bolts were pretty rusty and nasty, so I decided to see if I could shine them up a bit. Yes, I know I could get new ones, but this is a RESTORATION, not REPLACEMENT. (apparently some others don't get this concept)

I used this on the bolts:

I just put a bunch of it on a wet scouring pad, and chucked the bolt in my drill, like so:

After spinning the bolt on the scouring pad with some paste, here's my result:

Ahhhhh...much better.
 
Taking a tip from a fellow KLOVer, I decided to use water and aluminum foil on my coin plates.

Take a look at how well the plate cleans up by rubbing it with just water and Al foil:
