cleaning rusty legs with electrolysis?

Last edited:
Yeah, $39 plus another 7 bucks for shipping added to an order I was already working on anyway was hard to pass up. I still might try the electrolysis thing at some point, though. Sounds pretty neat and I have other pieces I wouldn't mind de-rusting without scrubbing.

do you guys know a place that sells nice pin legs for early bally games the gray coloured kind? I want to get a set for my '81 fireball II as i have chrome ribbed legs on it now and i want it to look stock plus the chrome legs are kinda beat looking.

I have gray legs on my HS and they suppose to be chrome, I be willing to trade you. How beat are yours? The gray legs have a few paint chips here and there, but you can repaint them, let me know Spoonman

Isn't that oven cleaner suppose to clean the leg's real good? Like easy off or something? I read a thread on this site that recommended oven cleaner.

Hey man, I have had a couple sets completely covered in rust and have used SOS pads and wire brushes to get it completely cleaned and then used a clear coat spray from walmart and put 2 coats of that on and they look great. They look better than a normal set of legs but not quite as good as new
