For the past few months I've been working on a project to expand my arcade space at my house and it's almost complete! Woohoo! Should be able to fit about 30 more machines in addition to the 40 already there. So I've been pulling some games out of storage and giving them a complete cleaning inside and out. Basically gutting the entire machine, cleaning everything, and then reinstalling everything. Also doing other things like new tmolding, new plexi glass, new CP overlays, marquee's, and side decals when necessary. Here are a couple machines that I completed over the past two weeks. Star Trek is all original except new tmolding. Space Fury is new tmolding and new overlay. Liberator is new tmolding and new overlay. Champion Baseball is all original except new tmolding.

40 games? I'd have a divorce with 1 more than 6.

Unfortunately I still have another 21 that will have to stay at my parents house :( Lol

If you have a party, I am making the trip. :) 70 immaculate games.

Wife and I agreed on no more than 7 in the house. Got 8 in the basement 1 in the office 2 in the garage and 2 at a buddies.
I am trying to down size but I sell one and something great pops up.

I think of it this way:
Happy wife, happy life.
39 years.

I don't feel like losing 120 lbs and half my retirement for another game. (Unless it's Alpine Ski which she wants).
:)

Yeah.. great ones always pop up.

My wife actually likes the games, and loves pinball... so I have 3 pins too. I guess it helps too that I had all the machines before my wife. Lol

The games look great (I need a Sega vector). However, it is the space that I think is the real story here. Anyone that has space for 70 at their house is in pretty elite company. I have now maxed out at 42 spread out between 2 floors (basement and home office) and my work office. I'm done until I can actually find another location to put things that is NOT just storage (I want them playable).

People always ask me about how much it costs to collect games. I always tell them the cost of the games is not the limiting factor.
